The Poverty in Our Thinking about Poverty - Part 1

Join Magnet members for part one of this two-part series breaking open the tough subject of poverty.

At this event, you'll learn about poverty's complexity and models being used to understand some of its facets. 

If you have ever desired to learn more about motivations, attitudes and realities of those living in poverty as well as motivations, attitudes and realities of your own life, reserve your spot in this two-part series.

Register part two, on September 24 to gain first-hand experience volunteering in one if the county's largest food pantries followed by real-life stories detailing some of the challenges of living in poverty and the obstacles to leaving it.
