Turn a dusty bike into a shiny smile!

Come join Madison Magnet young professionals to support FreeBikes4Kidz. Volunteering with local professionals is a great networking opportunity to connect with other talented and engaged young professionals. You don't need to be a mechanic or a biker to join the fun!

Please note that the event ends at 12pm so we'll gather for a networking lunch (optional) afterwards for all available volunteers. 

What to expect?

• Cleaners – Each bike gets a good, thorough cleaning before moving on to the next stage. Just bring yourselves, we’ve got supplies!
  
• Preppers – Take care of the easy stuff, mechanically speaking: Grease seat posts, change tires, swap saddles, new grips, new pedals, etc.
  
• Mechanics – Knowledge and skills required. Change cables, adjust shifting, adjust brakes, true wheels, adjust bearings.
  

Additional information:

• Recommended clothes, shoes, etc.? Don't wear any clothes that you want to keep clean and normal footwear is fine
  
• Can volunteer's bring children? Children are welcome, but they ask that parents keep an eye on the kiddos to keep them safe.
  
• Parking: Available in front of the building
