You know you want to join us tubing down the Sugar River!
Here's the low-down:
-We've rented 2 12-passenger vans and have sober drivers to carpool people from Madison to S&B Tubing in Albany, Wisconsin so you don't have to worry about driving right after tubing. Space in the vans will be first come first served based on order of registration as we have to give them notice by Friday. Thanks for understanding!
-Meet at Me & Julio restaurant (2784 S Fish Hatchery Rd, Fitchburg, WI 53711) at 12:45pm and the vans will leave right at 1pm to drive to S&B Tubing (30-40 minute drive)
-Your ticket price includes transportation in the vans plus your tube rental ($15 on it's own) and Magnet will supply a few cooler tubes for the group
-This event is BYOB (no glass is allowed on the river) and please coordinate with your friends to also BYO Coolers (!). The cooler tubes we'll be renting will hold your coolers while we float. S&B recommends hard-sided coolers since they sometimes get splashed
-Floating down the Sugar River takes between 3-4 hours
-Feel free to bring non-members to this (and all Magnet events!) as your guests at the member rate
-We plan to drive everyone back to Madison around 6pm, and if anyone wants to stay and have dinner at Me & Julio, the party is welcome to continue there!
-Rain date: Sunday July 28th. Please check your email by Friday afternoon July 19th with updated information for potential rescheduling
