Writing Letters To Our Troops (Virtual Hangout)

You’re invited to join in a night of great cheer

to provide a kind service as the holidays near.

On a virtual platform we’ll soon be together

6pm is the time, the 17^th of December.

From our own homes we’ll write letters and cards

to our soldiers whom we want to send joyous regards.

We can’t wait to see all your smiling faces

as we hang out together from all different places.

December 17^th, 6pm, Writing Letters To Our Troops

All Magnet members and non-members are invited to join together on a video call for a virtual hang out while we write holiday cards to our troops. Bring your own materials (see below) and we’ll enjoy time together connecting and sharing in this service activity.

Connect with local Young Professionals as we write letters/cards to troops. Support your own wellbeing and give the gift of gratitude to troops away from their holidays during this holiday season.  

Materials needed:

Cards (of any kind!) or paper – you can use whatever you have on hand or order something new. There is no minimum or maximum number of letters/cards you can write. We'll provide information on the card where you can send them.

Pen/pencil – feel free to get as creative as you’d like

Stamps – can be purchased at the grocery store, most gas stations, the post office, or stamps.com
