Madison Parks Earth Day Challenge

Join Madison Magnet as we team up with the City of Madison for the annual Earth Day Challenge, a citywide volunteer effort dedicated to caring for our local parks and public green spaces. This is a simple, meaningful way to make a positive impact while enjoying time outdoors with fellow members.

Volunteers will work independently or in small groups at designated parks across Madison. By participating, you’ll help restore and protect the natural beauty of our community—your helping hands truly make a difference!

Volunteer Responsibilities

  • Trash pickup throughout assigned park areas
  • Light raking or stick removal at select locations

(Event details: https://cityofmadison.galaxydigital.com/need/detail/?need_id=1210011)

Important Registration Requirements

To participate, you must complete two registrations:

1. Register through Madison Magnet (so we know you're joining us)

2. Register on the City of Madison website using the link above (required for official city volunteer placement)

We strive to be an inclusive organization and encourage our members to engage with, learn from, and develop an understanding of others. We prioritize the safety of our community and expect behavior that exhibits respect for all people and supports these values at all Magnet gatherings.
