Join us for apple picking and fall fun at Eplegaarden in Fitchburg! Purchase a bag to fill with your favorite variety of apples. Pumpkins will also be available for purchase along with lots of delicious items from the farm store including cider brats, caramel apples and more. After exploring we'll connect over apple cider donuts and cider provided by Magnet.

Eplegaarden has other activities including a playground so kids and families are welcome!

ImpactLife Blood Drive at Delta Beer Lab! (September 29, 2026)

Join us at Delta Beer Lab for a blood drive in partnership with our 2026 Pride Paddle sponsor, ImpactLife! Donate blood, then stick around for a social hour in the taproom with great beer, great company, and a chance to connect with fellow Magnet members.

ImpactLife will also have a table at Pride Paddle where you can learn more about blood donation, ask questions, and register. Their mission is to save lives by providing blood products and services to communities in need and they donate blood products to over 120 hospitals and emergency medical service providers!

TOURganizations - Kellner Family Athletic Center (October 06, 2026)

Tour local organizations with Madison Magnet! Join us for an introduction to various employers in the Madison community. This time we will be gathering at the new Kellner Family Athletic Center on the UW-Madison campus.

The newly completed phase I includes a 120 yard indoor turf field, 305 meter training track, community plaza, and coaches offices. Phase II will be home to new student-athlete dining hall, sports medicine center, locker rooms, and student-athlete well-being spaces.

All 23 of UW's varsity sports will utilize the Kellner Family Athletic Center, a $285 M project which is the largest in UW-Athletics history. The Kellner Family Athletic Center will afford the Badgers one of the best student-athlete experiences in the country.

Parking is available on Monroe Street, in the surrounding neighborhood, and also under the new facility in Lot 15. Please plan to meet inside of the Schaefer Family Entrance.

About Ian Gurfield:

Ian Gurfield is the cofounder of Ian’s Pizza and Batch Bakehouse. An entrepreneur at heart, Gurfield started his first business, Ian’s Pizza, in 2001 when he was just 23 years old. Since then, he’s been an investor in multiple food businesses, real estate endeavors, and clean tech startups.

Gurfield was born and raised in Massachusetts, but also spent five years in Brazil, his mother’s native country. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts–Amherst, where he earned a multidisciplinary degree focused on social thought and political economy.
