Tour local organizations with Madison Magnet! Join us for an introduction to various employers in the Madison community. This time we will be gathering at Electronic Theater Controls (ETC).

Since its creation in 1975 in Madison, ETC has grown into an international leader in events lighting technology. From control consoles and rigging hoists, to architectural lighting and fixtures, ETC provides the theatre and architectural industries with innovative solutions and products. ETC employs over 1,000 people in 15 corporate offices around the world. Come tour their Middleton headquarters to learn more about this groundbreaking company!

Active Youth Wisconsin Volunteer Event (June 13, 2026)

Active Youth Wisconsin is a nonprofit committed to providing accessible opportunities for kids to be active in a generation where they move less than ever.

Their initiatives foster inclusivity, promote self-confidence, work ethic, and positive peer interactions so that all children, regardless of background, can benefit from the physical and mental health advantages that regular activity provides.

Their Sun Prairie Kids Triathlon is on June 13th and they would love our help! They host three Tri 4 Schools kids triathlons each year for ages 3-14. What’s unique about their events is that they donate 100% of entry fees back to school PE departments.

Join us at the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce for Lunch with a Leader featuring Chamber President Zach Brandon. Learn about the chambers’ role in the community and why young professionals should build their careers in Madison while hearing from one of Madison’s most influential leaders.

About Zach Brandon:

Zach Brandon became President of the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce in November 2012.

Prior to joining the Greater Madison Chamber, Zach was the director of the Wisconsin Angel Network, an early stage investment organization focused on increasing equity investments in Wisconsin's entrepreneurs. Zach also served as the vice chair of public policy for the national Angel Capital Association.

Previously, Zach served as Deputy Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Commerce and served in the agency's senior policy and external affairs role. Zach advised the Governor, Commerce Secretary and the Legislature on global trade and business development strategies with a heavy emphasis on expansion, investment and entrepreneurial development.

An experienced entrepreneur and small business owner, Zach was part of the leadership team of three startups. He was president and chief executive officer of Laundry 101, which in 2003 topped USA Today's "Best Places" to do laundry.

Zach earned a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Management from Kent State University.
